WHAT IS USUI REIKI?
Usui Shiki Ryoho - the Usui System of Natural Healing - is a Japanese Healing Art, which is passed on from master to student. This form was founded in Japan a little over 100 years ago by Mikao Usui, whose personal search to understand healing led him to discover Reiki. He developed his practice in Japan and in 1937 Reiki was introduced in Hawaii, by Hawayo Takata Sensei. It is passed on from Master to student through teachings, a defined form of practice and initiation or "attunement". Sacred symbols are used by the practitioner to enhance the energetic transfer.
The Japanese word ‘reiki’ can be translated as ‘universal life energy’ and the Usui System is a way of working with reiki for healing of self and others. The word healing is used in the sense of regaining harmony and wholeness.
I'm a certified Reiki Master Teacher for both humans and animals.
"Distance reiki" (or "Remote reiki"), are performed privately for animals. A Zoom call can be scheduled to discuss my findings afterward. These sessions are very powerful and have been reported as "extremely relaxing" and "transformative"
by my clients. These sessions are offered for both humans and animals alike.
Animal reiki can be done in person, if requested and local.
WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUE: Reiki is sacred to me. I've changed my lifestyle to be able to provide the purest form of reiki possible for my clients. It is far more than a practice, it is my lifestyle. Further, I'm not only attuned to Master Teacher in traditional Usui reiki, but I am also attuned to St. Raphael the Archangel, the patron saint of love and healing, which makes the energy flow and experience so much more powerful. Within my visions while performing reiki sessions, I have experienced Raphael working with and through me for my clients, and it is always a very profound experience for them.
When I teach/attune practitioners, they have the option of also being attuned to St. Raphael.
I am very disciplined in reiki. If you are serious about learning and being certified/attuned to traditional Usui reiki for the good of others, please understand that you will work to heal yourself first, and then focus on healing others along with self. Only the serious should apply.
